Benefits of a Full Body Massage

Traditional Burmese Massage (also known as Myanmar Massage or Burmese Touch) borrows heavily from Indian, Thai, Chinese and Tibetan massage styles and ideas, and is designed for general health. In general there are no oils, creams, lotions or pastes are used in a Burmese massage therapy session, but it's important to remember that it does depend a little on the specific region of Myanmar where the massage is given and the method by which it is given. The most common Burmese massage therapy is warm, short concentrated and focused on relaxation. The purpose of massage is to assist clients in reducing muscular tension, increase the flexibility and mobility, improve blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, boost mental functioning to rejuvenate and rejuvenate the body, relieve spasms and muscle pain and also reduce stress. It is the goal of massage therapy to create deep relaxation and peace that will help clients recover quicker from acute stressors.

In western countries like the US, Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, we have learned to adapt traditional methods of chamomile and Myrtle massages to the unique requirements and culture of each country. In eastern countries , such as the one called Myanmar massage, it is more a part of the routine of life, rather than a ritualized event. My experience with Burmese massage, Thailand massage, or any other massage is constant throughout my years of performing Thai massage and has been developed by a group students in the Far East, who come from the lineage of traditional massage practitioners , who were previously known as the "Druk Yai." This tradition is not nearly as extensive as other forms of massage practiced throughout Thailand. However, it does have its own healing principles and advantages.

As an Asian massage practitioner who spent 6 years (and nights) in northern Thailand I did not encounter the widespread use of the "Myrrh" that I have observed across the other areas of Thailand. This is probably due to the limitations of the Thai language to correctly translate the word into the English language. I spent two years living in northern Myanmar so I have plenty of information regarding myrrh-based practices there. Some changes I've seen in the past could be due to the shift from myrrh-based healing towards "herbal medical."

I believe that the lack of myrrh in the rest of Thailand is related to the wide acceptance of herbal/natural treatments. Massages in Thailand continue to employ creams, oils and waxes. I think this is due to the high volume of messages (masseurs) who are hired to provide massage services. A majority of Thai massage spas still make use of oil-based therapies since they are thought of as "luxurious".

There are many spas for massaging in Thailand, including those located in northern Thailand are also embracing the concept of aromatherapy and traditional herbal medicine. These methods are widely used in Europe, the United States and Canada. However, the majority of massaging spas in Thailand I've been to do not practice traditional healing art. I believe that this is due to the fact that these kinds of techniques do not adhere to the guidelines of the larger, more conservatively managed massage spas in northern Thailand.

My experience of traditional Burmese massages revealed a distinct approach to massage than the westerners I was studying. This particular style, which I'd call "Myanma" or "Myrobalan" involves gentle pressure applied to specific acupoints of the body. This is done mainly through the process of kneading.  출장안마 The technique for massage is long strokesthat are unlike those of most Thai massage techniques where the massage therapist is using both hands. After the massage my skin felt softer and I was able to sleep peacefully.

My studies also led me to learn that the traditional Burmese massage is usually accompanied by the consumption of a specific herbal concoction. The most well-known ingredients are the following ingredients: Lavan, Brahmi and Mistletoe. While the herbs vary from one location to the next and are used for different purposes, the main goal is to help you feel an overall feeling of wellbeing. My research has revealed that massage therapists in northern Thailand utilize Ostrich feathers, ginseng, and traditional Burmese methods to aid clients who suffer from arthritis-related muscle spasms.

Massages for the entire body are well-known for its many advantages. It can have a soothing affect on the body and mind that was evident as soon as I received it. The full-body massage techniques described here aren't exactly what Thais call, but I can assure you that I felt more alert and energetic following the massage. I felt a sense of peace that reached my entire body. The basic techniques that my Myanmar massage therapist taught me gave me the energy and strength to tackle my everyday tasks without worry or stress.
